I don't have a hobby per se, just things I love and things I love to do. I have many animals that delight me constantly; 2 big dogs, one Chihuahua, many cats and countless chickens. I garden and tend my fruit trees. I love to cook and bake, breads are my favorites because you can create so many things out of one inconspicuous lump of dough, the possibilities are endless!!

I love movies where the under-dog comes out on top! I like dramas and historical films with a factual basis, Westerns, especially Tombstone, Rooster Cogburn, (for which I have a rooster named) and True Grit with John Wayne. I am also partial to sappy movies which make me cry!

Just about everything except Rap and Heavy Metal. It depends on my mood and what I need at the moment. I'm partial to blues but also love bluegrass, country, southern rock, classical, opera, Native American, Celtic, Spanish and Classical guitar.

I have spent my life with my face in a book, one of my favorite hangouts as a child was the library. You get to a point where you've read so much you can't remember what you've read. I read mostly non-fiction because I have a need to know things however when I read fiction it is generally historical novels with good research. I love James Michener for that reason and my favorite work of his was "The Tell" I read all of Kahlil Gibrans' works when I was younger and that as well as Lao Tse and The Bible has had the greatest impact on me.

NOACHSPACE CLUB - Public Forum

Thunder storms, the smell of the desert after one. The way the light shades the mountains at various times of the day. Summer evenings, summer mornings. Coyotes and owls calling in the night. My husband. Seeking, finding, knowing, rejoicing.

Meanness, pettiness, cruelty, injustice and bullies. Spiders!!!!

I live and work in an extremely isolated and rural area in the South West United States. My job has allowed me much time to pursue a life long passion, the truth about G-d and the true path and purpose to which He has called us. I was fortunate to find Israel National Radio last year and because of them so many informative doors have been opened for me! Thru various web sites and links I found the real origins of Christianity and put away from me all that is connected with it. I now experience such peace and joy thru Torah studies that I am literally left breathless at times! I feel as tho I have come home from a long and wearisome trek and am so grateful for the help of Tovia and others whose instructional sites have finally enabled me to say "At last"

Animas?? I think I must be a new neighbor. Trying to move to the Deming area, but had to go job hunting in Las Cruces. Just found out there's a new Chabad House here & Rabbi Bery has weekly Torah study. I sure hope to hear from you -- JosephineBatNoach

Nice hearing from you again!  Other than the 108 degrees, how did you like New Mexico?  In the southwest when it comes to the temperature we all say "108? but it's a DRY heat" I guess we somehow think that makes it better!  The worst I ever experianced was 125 in the shade in the Mojave Desert in Arizona....but that was a dry heat too!  Joy!  Suzan

Sorry I took so long to reply. Yes a dry heat, I loved it. It gets so hummid here, unbareable at times. This was the first time I had been west of the Rockies, beautiful, so different from here. Don't get me wrong, Ohio is great 4 seasons and lots of trees. -gary

Hi!  I was happy to recieve your friend request, thanks so much!  This site is soooo great allowing us to make friends and contacts with the same interests and goals.  How are you learning Hebrew?  On a web site?  I've seen some classes online but my shift changes every week at work so I can't commit to a particular time.  Do you know of one that fits my needs cuz I really want to learn too!  Joy  Suzan

HI Suzan, pleased to meet you. I've been studing Hebrew at a local synagogue, Beth Tikva, for two years now. Unfortunatly the classes were canceled this year because not enought people signed up. So I study on my own. Sorry I can help you, but thanks for asking. -Gary
