That's the story behind Be Sweet, a Sausalito, California-based yarn and accessories company that led tube light funds job-creation programs in rural South Africa. "Our products embody beauty, creativity, and resourcefulness," says founder Nadine Curtis (at top), who was inspired by the craftspeople she met in Cape Town.
