FAIRBORN -- The Wright State men's basketball team finished its fourth senior night under the coach Brad Brownell regime Wednesday, Feb. 17, and once again it was a success.
Wright State's record is a clean 4-0 for these games, and 8-0 for Brownell as a head coach. He went 4-0 on senior nights at North Carolina-Wilmington.
The Raiders beat Detroit 70-53, then the speeches started on court.

pandora beads Cory Cooperwood (a junior college transfer): "I'd like to thank my mother and father, who couldn't make it (from Kensett, Ark.) because of the weather. I wish I was here for four years."
John David Gardner (a transfer from North Carolina-Wilmington who was hurt most of this season): "I want to thank everybody and coach Billy Donlon, a great player developer."
Ronnie Thomas (a transfer from Duquesne): "We're going to finish the season out right."
Todd Brown: "My dad never played defense either."
Bushman visits
Replica prada wholesale Braden Bushman, who graduated in 2004, is back and an assistant principal at Fairborn Primary School. Bushman played four seasons, with his 5.3 scoring average and 2.5 rebounds as a junior his best.
Surgery for Land
Junior Cooper Land will have surgery on his right anterior cruciate ligament at Miami Valley Hospital next Thursday. Land injured his knee in practice last Monday and has not played since. He had to wait for surgery for the swelling in his knee to subside.
Baseball offer
Baseball coach Rob Cooper saw junior Troy Tabler well before the game and asked him if he'd like to try out for the baseball team when he's finished with basketball next season.
"Sure," Tabler said. "I was a pitcher in high school but quit after my freshman year to concentrate on basketball."
Tabler's father is Pat Tabler, who played 12 years of Major League Baseball as a first baseman, third baseman and outfielder.
