Subject: Introductions
Content: Hello everyone. I'm so glad I found this cite! I thought I'd introduce myself and make a thread where others can introduce themselves as well. I am 39 years old and live in the Dayton Ohio area. I'm married with no children. I was a devout christian for years until I met a Jewish co-worker who very slowly and gingerly introduced me to the Covenant of Noach. I was next in line to be an elder in my church when I began studying basic Judaism. I spent a year in study and prayer with many tears and hardships. I sat down with my pastor and told him I had to leave the church and no longer considered myself a christian. With the exception of a few close friends I lost all my church friends. It was a very hard and lonely time in my life. But for all my losses I gained so much more. I gained my very place in the world and have been blessed far beyond that which I feel I deserve. I credit great teachers such as Rabbi Moshe, Rabbi Tovia Singer and Rabbi Lazer Brody with my transformation.
