I'm a native-born, lifelong Alaskan who recently uprooted & transplanted to New Mexico. I'm still adjusting to heat, sun, and city living. Missing my little cabin in the woods, my cat & my country-loving friends, but finding new interests & opportunities all around me: Torah study at the Chabad House, Spanish lessons, browsing the open-air market, walking under the full moon at White Sands Monument -- and loving that Mariachi music on the radio!
